Vintage Film Timestamp App
Effective: March 26, 2026
Elva is a vintage film timestamp app that adds nostalgic digital date stamps to your photos, bringing back the charm of analog photography eras. We built Elva to let you relive the warm, nostalgic feeling of old film photography, and we think your personal moments should stay personal. This page is our simple, clear explanation of how we handle your information—no confusing jargon, no hidden fine print.
When you use Elva to add retro date stamps to your photos, every part of the editing process happens right on your phone or tablet. We never upload your original photos, edited photos, or any personal content from your photo gallery to any of our servers.
No one on our team can access any of your photos unless you explicitly send them to us when you reach out for customer support. Even then, we only use your photos to resolve the issue you're having, and we delete them permanently once we're done.
We never collect any personal information that can identify you—like your name, email address, location, or contact details—unless you choose to contact us for support.
The only non-personal data we might collect is completely anonymous usage and performance data, like:
None of this data can be traced back to you as an individual, and it's only used to make Elva better for everyone.
We built Elva as a passion project for analog photography lovers, and we don't sell or rent any of your information to third parties for marketing, advertising, or any other commercial purposes.
The only third-party tools we use are for improving app performance (like crash reporting), and all of these tools only collect the same anonymous, non-personal data that we collect ourselves. We only work with third parties that share our commitment to keeping your personal information private.
Because all of your photos and edited work are stored only on your own device, you are 100% in control of your content:
If you have any questions, thoughts, or concerns about privacy with Elva, we'd love to hear from you:
